Sin destroys relationships
The first people enjoyed an intimate and harmonious relationship with their Lord and Creator and they were having a wonderful love relationship among themselves. They lived in a perfect environment, provided by their Creator, and they were commissioned to beautify the earth by making the entire earth a Garden of Eden, - a paradise.
However, we know that something happened that has marred the entire world in which we live. Sin entered this world through a subtle temptation to satisfy their personal desires and become independent through personal knowledge of good and evil. The woman was deceived by the devil but the man sinned openly knowing that what he did was wrong.
